ABOUT AKASH DHILLON (Hons B.A., J.D. | Criminal Defence Lawyer)

Akash Dhillon represents and counsels individuals who are under investigation by the police, witnesses and victims of crime including doctors, nurses, teachers and other professionals before their disciplinary boards. Mr. Dhillon has experience in handling complex criminal matters, where he proactively defends you and your rights in court. Mr. Dhillon is a graduate of Queen’s Law School in Kingston, where he received a Juris Doctor.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Dhillon obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Business from the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction. Mr. Dhillon is a certified member of the Law Society of Ontario and Criminal Lawyers Association. Mr. Dhillon began his career working in Downtown Toronto at one of the most renowned criminal defence firms in Canada. Mr. Dhillon developed a deep understanding of the criminal law and developed a passion for defending individuals subject to overzealous law enforcement and being prosecuted for criminal charges.

Mr. Dhillon has successfully appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal.
